The Councillor for Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle, Francisco Miguel Martínez, together with other local authorities and Coronado teacher last night presided over the opening ceremony of the exhibition "halcyon days" of Almeria painter Eduardo Roca Silva.
The sample contains about thirty paintings, mostly oils, embodied in different formats and with illustrations of landscapes as outstanding element, with particular attention to urban and rural environments Almería, Granada and Murcia, among other places.
Rock, born in 1973 in the town of Sorbas, said at the opening ceremony that the hobby is drawing since he can remember, centering his first artistic period in comics, a technique that is still used as a basis to work on more refined creations.
Since I studied Fine Arts at the College of Granada, has exhibited his works in different parts of Spain and in the Austrian city of Vienna, where he lives since 2008.
This collection will be open until the 29th of June, in the Temporary Exhibition Hall Auditorium and Congress Palace "Infanta Elena" from Tuesday to Sunday, 18 to 21 hours.
