On Sunday took place in Águilas traditional Corpus Christi procession in which, as usual, children who have received their First Communion this year were the protagonists.
The local chief executive, Bartolomé Hernández, together with other local authorities, presided over the procession was formed in the street Luis Prieto, once the solemn Mass celebrated in the parish of Carmen finished, then moving through some of the main roads of the town urban city, as were the Avenida Juan Carlos I and the Count of Aranda artery to reach the Plaza de Spain.
The procession also included members of the Hospitality of Our Lady of Lourdes, and the banners of the different Easter brotherhoods Band and Musical Patronage Columbine "Francisco Díaz Romero".
During the journey crowded audience, the procession was making stops at altars set up along the route, among which was the City of Eagle's own, up to the doors of the church of San José, where children and the rest of the entourage fired the Body of Christ with songs and praises.
