Coinciding with the European Sustainable Energy Week, held from 23 to 27 June, was presented this morning in the House of Culture "Francisco Rabal" Eagles PAES, an action plan related to this subject which is part of commitments within the Covenant of Mayors.
It is an initiative born under the awareness of curbing climate change, considering ambitious targets for reducing CO2 emissions, namely 20 percent in 2020. A figure that the City of Eagle expects not only reach, but surpass, showing their commitment to respect the environment.
The presentation ceremony was attended by various councilors of the municipal corporation and the head of the Department of Programs and Services INFO Europeans, Rafael Ata, and aquiline mayor of Local Development, Industry, Trade and Employment, Charles Bartholomew, who along with other speakers also commissioned to publicize the "Meshartility" project, an action that seeks to facilitate collaboration between energy companies and municipalities in data exchange energy, essential to evaluate progress in reducing emissions consumption.
