Medical-legal problems in the exhumation of remains, advancements in forensic computing, developments in forensic toxicology, forensic soil studies or virtual reconstruction of crime scenes are some of the topics covered by the course "Current Advances in Forensic Science", belonging International University of Mar-Campus Mare Nostrum, the summer courses organized by the University of Murcia.
According to officials, forensic sciences have undergone a scientific and technological revolution "can address issues and answer questions out of reach a few years ago."
The course will be held from 7 to 10 July in Puerto Juan Montiel Eagles hotel, and therefore seeks to update applications of forensic science and disseminate pointers and novel aspects in this area.
The course is led by A. Luna Maldonado, professor of the Faculty of Medicine MD García García, titled Professor, Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia.
The activity has a duration of 25 hours, and those who enroll in it shall be entitled to 2.5 elective credits or 1 ECTS-CRAU.
