In this sense, municipal representatives explained that this water year is being extremely dry and hot, with a drought situation did not occur for more than seventy years.
This affects all cultures, both rainfed and irrigated agriculture, not to mention the livestock sector, which also has been affected by lack of pasture.
Against this background, political groups approved unanimously urge the Regional Government conducted a detailed study of the damage caused, as well as increased costs and negative effects on crops.

These could range from tax reductions and subsidies for those affected, through special credit lines until varietal reconversion plans dry woodlands, among others.
