In just three months, the City of Eagle has completed the remodeling of the green area and the road section of Antonio Chambers Street, between the intersections of the Immaculate Armando Muñoz Calero and, adjoining the Rambla del Charco arteries.
This week, the local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by the mayors of Works and Parks and Gardens, Diego Martinez and Isidro Carrasco, respectively, visited the neighborhood to check the final status of this action which has involved an investment of 91,584 euros.
As stated by the mayor of Eagle, the area was quite damaged by the growth of the roots of the surrounding trees, which had motivated the sidewalks were lifted, making it hard for pedestrians.
The project, sued numerous times by neighbors, has included demolition of the existing curb and sidewalk and implementation of a new curb and paving thereof, as well as removal of the grass between it and the wall of the Rambla del Charco.
During the visit, Bartolomé Hernández explained that it has created a new green area and installed street lights and signs.
It has also placed a railing that citizens had sought to avoid dangerous situations and conditioning the existing garden is on the opposite bank of the ravine, situated at Electra.
