The six candidates competing for the title of Queen of the Festival of Eagles 2014 were presented this morning at the Consistory aquiline, at an official reception offered the local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, accompanied by the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, and the current Queen, Carmen Soto.
The ceremony was also attended by various members of the company "Dragonfly Group" responsible for coordinating the gala to be held on Saturday, July 26, at the Plaza de Antonio Cortijo.
The girls will compete for the crown, previously selected by the jury of the organization from thirteen initial applicants are: Cassandra Delgado, Noelia Diaz Escarabajal Tamara, Veronica Fernandez, Susana Giner and Victoria Martinez, aged between 18 and 25 years .
This year, according to local authorities during the reception, the gala will change the structure of previous editions, based on the choice of the Queen and subsequent concert of a singer or group, to present a unique event that will include the different countries of the candidates interspersed with performances by renowned artists nationwide to finalize the appointment of the misses, bridesmaids and coronation of the chosen.
The evening, presented by Domingo Fernandez and Diana Garcia, will be inspired by the local famous "Moulin Rouge", displaying all the magic of this iconic Parisian cabaret.
It will also include the participation of vocalist Nagha group, María Jesús Navarro, who will liven up the evening with live performance of the songs included in the soundtrack of the hit movie of the same name.
For the first time, access to the site is completely free and only onsale tables located in the center of the Plaza.
The reservation for four people, may be performed exclusively in the Tourist Office, the cost of 15 €.
