One of the more traditional summer sports, the Fun Run "City of Eagles", was held Sunday in the XXXVII Edition, bringing together some 250 athletes gathered in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijo Township.

Under a festive atmosphere with temperature about 25 °, runners crossed a street circuit 800 meters for baby and juvenile categories and 4,500 meters for the other, both male and female form.

Note that, this time, the test was included in the calendar of races that make up the Running Challenge 2014, organized by the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia.

The competition allowed as absolute winners: Nicholas Angel Robles, the club "Cross-country skiers Sewer", with a time of 13'58 in the men, and Pilar Duarte Garcia of "Ucam Athleo Cieza" with a timer 17 ' 14 in the women who received their trophies from accrediting the mayor of Tourism and Celebrations, Clara Valverde.
