The Chief Justice and the General Council of the Judiciary, Carlos Serrano Lesmes offered this afternoon at the inaugural conference of Eagles traditional course of the International University of the Sea "Criminal Justice in Spain".
On arrival the town was received by the mayor, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, and the mayor of Planning, Isabel María Soler Hernádez, with different personalities from judiciary, among which were: the President of the High Court of Justice of Murcia Juan Martínez Moya;
Government Secretary of the Supreme Court, Javier García Parra;
or the President of the Provincial Court, Andres Pacheco Guevara.
Accompanied by the rector of the University of Murcia, Orihuela José Calatayud, and course directors, faculty and Julio Conde Fernando Jiménez López Siguenza, Lesmes gave a lecture titled "The organization of courts in the proposed new Organic Law of Judicial Power. "
Next, the known criminal lawyer, Marcos García Montes, closed the first day today with the presentation "Prosecution and punishment of crimes of corruption."
The course, for which again they have covered all the squares, will run until the evening of next Thursday, July 24, being scheduled to be closed with a lecture by the President of the Criminal Chamber of the Audiencia Nacional, Fernando Great, who will moderate the Dean of the Bar Association of Lorca, Ángel García Aragón.
