This morning, Councillor for Education of the City of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, visited some of the centers where they are developing a total of five summer schools, attended by about one hundred children in school in the town.
As explained by the mayor, the offer is varied and distributed in different parts of the municipality, seeking that citizens have such activities in places near to their home, making it easy for parents to reconcile work and family life while students reinforce the knowledge acquired during the course.
In addition, some of these summer schools focus on specific topics, with a clearly defined goal.
Thus, the CEIP Las Lomas hosts based on "Healthy Habits" directed at elementary and primary children at risk of social exclusion, where special attention to food and personal hygiene is provided.
Similarly, in the social hall of the aquiline hamlet of "The Arejos" a pilot project, which aims to offer a suitable to serve the children of those working in agriculture, common in this area develops space rural township where leisure and educational activities are conducted.
Finally, schools Joaquín Grocer, The Carlos V Rubial and host various summer schools, some promoted by the AMPAS and others as different teaching initiative, which collaborates with the City of Eagle.
