Eagles Mayor Bartolome Hernandez and Councilman Goods and Works, Diego Martínez, presented this morning the project to build two tennis courts clay and northern conditioning access to the sports center, located next to the indoor arena "Diego Calvo Valera ".
This is a performance with a budget of 225,000 euros, which is currently in the bidding phase, so the local government expects work to begin in late summer and be completed early next year.
As a special feature of this project, note that the height will be located where the tracks will be on 3'2 feet below the level of access on the north side of the sports center, so it will be necessary to conduct an excavation.
Subsequently, a ramp that will integrate this system with other existing in the environment will be created.
The equipment will include an area of ​​precast concrete steps and a retaining wall to help protect the playing area of ​​the effects of wind and a building envelope that will run through a steel mesh deck of 2'8 meters high, anchored to a reinforced concrete wall.
This is complemented by a perimeter planter, equipped with different plant species, with different elements of lighting, irrigation and storm drainage, among other actions.
As explained by local authorities, this initiative will allow many aquiline athletes, young and old, do not have to travel to neighboring towns to play tennis on such tracks, as has been happening so far, while the image and improves accessibility sports center.
