Councilman government team in the City of Eagle, Francisco Navarro, presided at yesterday morning's awards ceremony of the Swimming Crossing "Playa de Poniente", framed in XXXVI Summer Sports Games test.

The competition, which was developed with a calm sea and under intense heat, was included in the calendar of open water swimming in the Region of Murcia and was attended by one hundred and fifty athletes who participated in the arrangements male and female, from the category Prebenjamín on.

The mayor presented the trophies to the top three in each category, a result of the overall winners (male and female): Mario García Cuenca, Sewer Swimming Club, with a time of 15 minutes;

and Luz María García Martínez, of Murcia, with a stopwatch in 16'09.

Both competed in Junior and traveled a distance of 1,500 m away.
