The deputy mayor of the Consistory aquiline, Isabel María Soler, presided over the awards ceremony last night ninth Painting Contest "Eagles on your brush," an activity organized by the cultural and social association "Reef" that has the support of the Department Culture and Heritage and various commercial firms.
Soler was accompanied by the mayor of the Joint Group, María Isabel Torrente, and several members of the association, who gave the awards to the various winners.
The first place went to the artist Carlos Romera, who had on a previous occasion achieved the award for best picture of this event.
In this case it was with a painting on the beach of La Colonia.
"Eagles in your brush" is a free art contest, which takes place each summer in the town, which can engage people over 16 years, providing their own support or canvas, having a maximum of 12 hours for making of his works.
