The council Public Safety of the City of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, announced today the results of a campaign of surveillance and control of alcohol and drugs, recently conducted by the local police, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic.
As indicated by the mayor, between 14 and 20 July, the agents conducted a total of 113 tests for different parts of the city, with one positive that marked an alcohol level of 0.25, so the driver was never arrested, a fact that occurs when you exceed 0.60 milligrams per liter of breath.
Based on these data, Francisco Clemente said that "drivers are increasingly aware that when alcohol is consumed should not get behind the wheel."
In addition, the councilman continued, "Eagles offers a wide range of public transport services to facilitate shifting to citizens, preventing them having to use their private cars."
