The Councillor for Culture and Heritage, Francisco Miguel Martínez, with Professor of Social Anthropology at the UCAM, Manuel Luna, and the president of the Columbine Brotherhood of Friends of the Traditions, Pedro Morata, presented this morning during ethnographic research tangible and intangible heritage of Eagles, currently being organized to start once the seats are filled.
During the meeting with the media, Francisco Miguel Martínez explained that he goes for students and teachers in general, as well as people interested in issues related to the anthropological, historical, archaeological and environmental heritage.
As reflected in its title, its main objective is to understand and manage the tangible and intangible elements of the culture of peasant roots and take advantage of recent sensitivities appeared in the European Community administrative space, contemplating this cultural tradition in initiatives for integral development of peoples and respect for their ethnic identity.
Manuel Luna said that this course part of a general idea, which tends to set a clear and transparent ethnographic characteristics of the Region of Murcia, southeastern Iberian peninsula panorama.
Under this premise, try to: make visible the cultural heritage for educational and educational purposes;
raise awareness of the care and preservation thereof;
generate sustainable development projects that tend to give value this wealth;
promote awareness of the regional and local cultural identity;
put in the hands of the consistory data and arguments for the management of the cultural landscape of the municipality;
and advise municipalities in promoting museums, anthropological observation, content design and tours.
The strategy is divided into several phases:
Introductory course in qualitative research methods, which is the medium from which the coursework and research addresses essential reason for the research activities of teachers and students.
Inventory and cataloging of items of tangible and intangible culture of the area, through sufficient to perform the fieldwork data collection questionnaire.
Public presentation of the course and its outcomes.
Complementary actions (publications, debates, workshops, etc..).
During the training period, a program to be addressed: qualitative methodology;
built environment in the town of Eagle, from its architectural and built heritage;
peasant culture;
culture of the sea and fishing;
Prom and exposure.
The course consists of 5 ECTS and the cost is 150 euros, including diploma overcoming it.
