This morning, the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández, accompanied by Council of Tourism and Beaches, Clara Valverde and Isidro Carrasco, respectively, performed the raising of the Q Quality Flags that have been granted to several beaches aquiline by the certification committee Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism "ICTE".

The town has earned a total of seven awards, four more than in previous years, they have gone to the beaches: Águilas, Levante, Poniente and Calarreona besides Las Delicias and La Colonia are the only ones that had already obtained other issues in this esteemed award, next to the Tourist Office.

This recognition involves a number of engagements, among which are: compliance with legal requirements;

excellent quality of bathing water;

checkpoints, lifesaving and first aid;

Recreation and leisure, among others.

Similarly, recall that the city has managed this summer eight Blue Flag certified, three more than in 2013, with the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) has awarded five beaches, two marinas and new Interpretation Centre Aquarium Sea-Eagles, along with the prestigious Flag "Ecoplaya" the Technical Association for Waste Management and Environment (Ategrus) allocated to the Las Delicias.

Thus, the municipality has achieved in this 2014 record figure of 16 awards, which is a great effort, as manifested Eagles Mayor and Council of Tourism and Beaches, so wanted to congratulate everyone involved in getting this achievement, indicated that while "these flags reflect the excellence of the aquiline coast and the commitment of municipal government by boosting the tourist image of the city."
