This year marks the twentieth anniversary "Holidays in Peace", thanks to which, each summer, the city becomes a place of welcome for groups of Saharawi children.
For this reason, the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández, and the mayor of Social Services, Ana María Miñarro, along with other local authorities and guests, today share a day together with these guys and girls, as well as with their host families also accompanied by various members of the Friends of the Saharawi people, led by their president, Paquita Lajarín.
The venue for this meeting was Calarreona youth hostel, located on the beach, a very different camps at Tindouf in Algeria, from where children landscape.
Since coming to town, on 3 July, are enjoying an extensive program of activities, with the collaboration aquiline different groups and the City of Eagle itself.
Until next September, will leave behind the high temperatures of the desert and will benefit from medical examinations or oral reviews, combining leisure with learning our language and customs.
