As is tradition for years, and fellow United Left-Greens Eagles have shared an evening with Sahrawi children who spend the summer months in our town thanks to program "Holidays in Peace" promoted by the Association of Friends of the Saharawi people, who recognize and appreciate their work.
Like every year we offered children an afternoon of entertainment and we offer them with school supplies, delivered by our Councillor, María Isabel Torrente.
From IU-Greens eagles renew our commitment to the Saharawi people, whom we support in their legitimate claim regardless of their province, military occupation by Morocco since four decades ago.
Today thousands of Saharawi citizens are refugees in Tindouf camp (in neighboring Algeria), where they have more than 40 years living in unbearable conditions, hoping that the international community address their complaints and organize a referendum for the Saharawi they can decide their future.
From the Local Assembly of the United Left-Green Eagles continue betting and the rights of the Saharawis, to wish you success in your project.
Today, as yesterday and tomorrow, FREE SAHARA !!
