The councilman of Culture and Heritage of the City of Eagle, Francisco Miguel Martínez Haro, along with other officials and guests, last night inaugurated a painting exhibition of Josefa Martínez Vent, in which more than fifty paintings are exhibited.
The exhibition entitled "My Passion" and can be seen at the Exhibition Hall Manuel Coronado, located in the Casa de Cultura Francisco Rabal, until September 7, Monday to Friday, 18 to 21 hours.
The author, born in Pozo Alcon (Jaén), leads forty-six years residing in Águilas.
You were taught crafts at the association of housewives in the municipality, of which it is a part, being the member of this group responsible for encouraging Josefa to enter the world of painting, since in 2001 organized a course that sparked his passion for this art.
Encouraged by her companions, Vent Martínez presents his first exhibition, a tour of his recent work, where we can also find some oils made in its initial stage.
Landscapes and figures enliven this show full of color, clearly showing the interest of the artist to exalt women, as it did at the time Julio Romero de Torres, Cordoba painter Josefa Martínez who has great admiration.
