Representatives from different companies and organizations related to the local tourism sector have gathered today in the Plenary Hall of the City of Eagle to reflect new badges Tourist Quality Commitment belonging to SICTED project.
The ceremony was chaired by the local chief executive, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, and the mayor of Tourism, Clara Valverde, who accompanied the manager of Tourism Competitiveness Plan "Eagles, Sea and Fisheries", José María Muñoz;
as the management of the Integrated Tourist Quality is referred to in the Plan.
This year, through the Integrated System for Quality Tourism Destination (SCTE), distinguishes a total of twenty-eight companies or entities Eagles.
Of these, thirteen are incorporated for the first time and fifteen renew their distinction.
Between 2013 and 2014, this system has had membership of nearly fifty companies or local entities;
about thirty companies in the tourist, commercial and hospitality sectors;
and the rest, institutions and public services like local police or municipal beaches Municipal Tourist Office.
The SCTE is a project to improve the quality of tourism destinations promoted by the Tourism Institute of Spain (TURESPAÃ'A) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), and works with businesses / tourism services with the primary objective of improving experience and satisfaction of tourists.
This project is based on the integral consciousness of destination and to identify common objectives of stakeholders, pursuing a consistent level of quality in the services offered to tourists within a destination;
so that no substantial quality gaps between different products that make up the offer and thus negative influences of perception and satisfaction of tourists appreciate.
Distinctive Tourist Quality Commitment credited the efforts of the participating companies and is the support that confirms compliance with the requirements of the methodology, while distinguishing the company from competition.
The distinctive biennial has validity, but is subject to an annual follow-up evaluation.
