The International University of the Sea Eagles resumes its activity.
After courses in July and Lecture "Watching the Sea" last August, now resumed its activity with the last course of this summer, which will take place this September.
The eleventh edition of the course "Current Issues in vision" will be held on the premises of the residence of the Asprodes Association, the former headquarters of the Guardia Civil in the hamlet of Águilas, from 5 to 7 September.
The course is aimed at students, eyecare professionals and anyone interested in the subject.
Directed by Norberto López Gil Vicente and Antonio Fernández Sánchez, aims to bring together a number of national and international experts who will show, in an educational and entertaining way, some of the most important advances being made in optometry, contact lens, ophthalmic and optical physiological.
During program development will be discussed, "Abnormalities of vision in perfect eyes";
"Color vision: from light to visual perception";
"Colorimetry: the measure of a feeling";
"Treatment of accommodative esotropia with contact lenses";
and "Optometrist in the third world: a personal experience."
In addition to scientific talks of several companies in the field of optometry, workshops refraction in patients with mental disabilities and several panel discussions and presentations.
For Eagles, provision proposed by the University of Murcia not only promotes the acquisition of new knowledge among students, but also fosters a unique opportunity for students and teachers aware of the many attractions of the town.
In the case of this event, students will perform a guided tour of Eagles and the natural surroundings of Marina de Cope, as well as workshops and canoe sailing baptism.
