The juvenile female team Eagles Tennis Club was received this morning at the Consistory aquiline, the mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, and the Councillor for Sports, Diego Martínez Parra after clinching the Championship of Spain.
The set consists of: Alba King, Paola Moreno, Sara Julia, Laura and Andrea Arredondo Piñero, who attended accompanied by their coaches, Ruben Jonathan Aguado and Marin, as well as family members and representatives of the board of that club.
Technical and players recalled that the competition held recently at Club Cordillera de Murcia, 28 teams came from across the country, ranked in their respective regions.
They also declared that "this win was not easy, but the effort was worthwhile, since they have become the first club to win a region championship tennis team Spain."
During the ceremony, Bartolome Hernandez congratulated the champions and gave them a plaque as a memento of this historic triumph, while encouraged them to keep working to reach new successes.
Finally, both the local authorities and members of the Tennis Club Eagles, emphasized the importance for the users of this sport the new clay courts that the municipal government will build in the northern part of Sports, facilities that will help forge new champions.
