The weekend was held in the town the XXIX Triathlon 'Marqués de Aguilas' designated as a test for Spain Championship Elite, Under 23, and Age Groups Paratriathlon.

More than 800 athletes from the different regions of the country participated in the competition that developed between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, both for the female to the male mode, with the following result in Elite:

First place in the men's category (Champion of Spain): Uxío Abuín Ares, the Tri-Penta AD Terras de Lugo.

Second Place: Pablo Dapena Gonzalez of Cidade de Lugo River.

Third: Antonio Benito Lopez, the Nutrifitness Triathlon Albacete.

The female classification was as follows:

Gold Medal (Champion of Spain): Miriam García Casillas, Triathlon Club Ferrol.

Silver Medal: Tamara Gómez Garrido, Triathlon Club Ferrol.

Bronze Medal: Sara Bonilla Bernardez, Claveria Triathlon Móstoles.

The test took as point of departure, transition and finish the Esplanade Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Elena Dola ', where local and regional authorities also presented the awards.
