Councillors aquiline Health and Public Safety Consistory, Ana Maria and Francisco Clemente Miñarro have Dimming this morning a meeting with the president of the Spanish Red Cross in Eagle, Miguel Molina, and the coordinator of Municipal Emergency Service, Pedro Sanchez, to take stock of almost three months in the town Ballad Plan.
All present were classified as 'positive' development of this operation that lasted 79 days, since it began June 28 and ended on September 14, which is an extension of the rescue services, first aid and supervision for to other shore points where limited to the months of July and August.
Under the collaboration agreement between the Red Cross and the City of Eagle, this summer 14 first aid posts were established with continuous surveillance, to which were added to periodic rounds rapid intervention vehicles took place around the coast aquiline .
According to the Selectmen have detailed, there have been 3.125 sanitary assistance on the beaches of the municipality, stressing the bathing assistance for disabled people, under the "Accessible Beaches" program, have joined 432 interventions, placing Eagles as a reference in this section within of the Region of Murcia.
Moreover, the local Red Cross president has indicated that, during the summer, help was given to 75 swimmers who had difficulty returning to shore, having no victims by immersion syndrome, while actual rescue maritime performed 8 outputs to aid several boats without government or in danger of sinking, though the speed made possible interventions that none of the occupants need health care.
Similarly, one of the programs that recorded the highest number of assists was the social intervention, where Red Cross volunteers conducted 1,788 performances both home helps aquiline, as a collective social interest: Alzheimer's Association, Central Association of Occupational Urci or Mentally Ill Eagles and Shire and nearly 200 people with disabilities or limited mobility, who have been enjoying the beaches columbines equal than other users.
