This morning, the Councillor for Tourism of the City of Eagle, Clara Valverde, has announced the program with which the city will add to the celebration of World Tourism Day.
The mayor explained that this year's events will take place under the slogan 'Tourism and Community Development' and will take place on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September, the latter coinciding with Remembrance Day, but will take a Route of Cocktail Bites Author and organized by HosteÁguilas, which will run until October 12.
Scheduled events are:
Friday, September 26:
Throughout the morning, opposite the tourist office, craft display Esparto and cane.
Open day in the museums of the town and the Castle San Juan de las Águilas.
At 11 am, in the Hall of City Hall, Fourth Edition of the Tourism Awards to recognize the Consistory aquiline publicly the work performed by citizens and businesses of the town, to enhance the set of local tourism.
This year, the award has gone to the path at the Yacht Club and Innovation in Camping Bellavista.
Saturday, September 27 (World Tourism Day):
At 11 hours and free, guided tour through the historic city center.
It is done on foot and will last about an hour and a half, covering: the fishing port, the Plaza of Spain, the Archaeological Museum and the Roman baths, among other attractions.
To participate, you must register in advance at the Tourist Office or by phone 968 493 285 and 968 493 173.
At 12 hours, directed exclusively to tourists and visitors, will take place a free ride by the Aquiline coast aboard the vessel "Don Pancho".
Invitations to participate in this route will be collected at the Tourist Office.
At 20:30 hours, under the title 'Eagles and fireflies', night city tour.
It will be free and will be guided by staff Albinegro Multidisciplinary Centre.
Space is limited and registration must be made previously by the Tourist Office or call 968 493 285.
Also, from this Friday until October 12, the Association of Innkeepers Eagles (HosteÁguilas) will also add to the celebration of World Tourism Day with the launch of the Route of Cocktail Bites and Author.
Participants offered their elaborate local culinary offerings, including drinking, at the price of 3.50 euros, to a set schedule for it, in most cases, will be 12 to 14:30 hours and from 20 to 22: 30 hours.
Establishments assigned to this campaign are: Barrafuerte, Samoa, Bamboo, Sailboat, Palenque, La Veleta, La Taberna Media, Tasca Don Jorge Garden, Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel, Camping Bellavista, The Shark, Comics, and More The Classic Café.
Finally, on the occasion of World Tourism Day, until Sunday the Hotel Puerto Juan Montiel will actively bid on the Celtic 4x3 circuit 2x1 spa and kayaking.
