The Department of Health advises that aquiline Consistory, until 5 November, the mobile unit of the regional program for prevention of breast cancer remain in the town.
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, will be located on the street Muñoz Calero, behind the Health Center South Eagles', with a schedule to the public which will run from 8:30 to 14:30 hours, by appointment .
As indicated by the mayor of Health, Ana María Miñarro, this action is developed in collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer and is aimed primarily at women aged between 50 and 69 years.
Miñarro wanted to encourage all women who are in that age range to get a mammogram, since, according to the mayor, is a quick and simple test that can make early detection of a disease treated in time avoid complications .
Finally, the Minister of Health has also recommended conducting this test to women aged 45 to 50 who have a family history, since the risk is higher in these patients and prevention is paramount in these cases.
