This morning was held in the Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena in Águilas, representation of 'Clowns in Danger, a play that promotes values ​​and safe road behavior among children.
The event, arranged with the different schools of the town, attended the council of Culture and Education, Francisco Miguel Martínez and Francisco Clemente, accompanied by Antonio Lopez, office manager of the insurance company Mapfre, since the activity was organized by the Department Mapfre Road Safety Foundation, in collaboration with the Consistory aquiline.
This initiative, aimed at children between 6 and 10 years, aims to raise awareness of the risks of inappropriate behavior by encouraging responsible attitudes and civic, with the goal of reducing road accidents, because accidents are the leading cause of death in young between 1 and 14.
Therefore, it is necessary to inform, educate and properly using child restraint systems.
The play tells the story of four clowns who come to school to learn the trade of being a clown.
In undertaking this trip, they confess that they have never left home, who have not got into a car or a bike and have never played in the street.
For this reason, they are 'at risk clowns' who through his teacher discover how to become 'safe clowns'.
The objective of this children's musical comedy is to open a space for reflection among the smallest, parents and guardians about the risks they run if they do not respect the basic rules of road safety as pedestrians and as future drivers.
The Department of Highway Safety Mapfre Foundation, aims to prevent and reduce traffic accident rates through various initiatives that assist public and private agencies.
