Councilman Parks and Gardens, Isidro Carrasco, today reported on the launch of the improvement works in the busy Plaza Gutiérrez Mellado, a large recreation area, located in the urbanization Las Yuccas Eagles.
As indicated by Carrasco, the work will include repairing the perimeter fence of all beds, as well as those urban elements that are damaged and replaced, if necessary, by new ones.
After clearing all existing weeds in gardens, are placed over 2,100 m2 of artificial turf, which will improve the overall look of the gazebo, obtaining a more compact picture of the green, while achieving a significant savings in water consumption for irrigation.
Similarly, it held an outstanding performance for the beautification of the whole environment, through different paint jobs: floors, billboards, street furniture and playground.
The mayor of Parks and Gardens stressed that "this action is an addition and is still in the enhancement of the places of the town, a plan of action that the municipal government launched the beginning of this term, in which is getting adapt these spaces for the use and enjoyment of the citizens'.
