The TTIP adversely affect the interests of businesses in our area, for your approval, the establishment of American multinationals will be provided in our municipalities, providing consumers with products of lesser quality and very cheap price.
As argued by our councilor "It will be impossible to compete for small and medium businesses to large multinationals," causing "the destruction of more than 100,000 jobs in our country", generating only precarious employment (many hours for low pay and with a very poor working conditions).
At the regular meeting of Full Council last month, Councilwoman IU-Green Eagles, Maria Isabel Torrente, argued a motion in which he claimed that the town of Eagle was declared as disobedient and opposed to TTIP municipality.
