The Auditorium and Congress Palace Infanta Doña Elena Eagles hosted last weekend, the closing ceremony and awards ceremony of the XI National Contest Amateur Theatre Paco Rabal, an encounter in which each year are given cites four of the best amateur companies of our country.
The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, chaired this magnificent gala accompanied by Councillor for Culture, Francisco Miguel Martinez, and many members of the municipal corporation and by an audience that completely filled the main hall of this iconic building, where He could also see Benito Rabal, son of the famous Actor aquiline.
The evening began with an acclaimed performance by Mamakiska Theatre, followed by the presentation of certificates of participation to the members of Clowneando workshop, a theater course linked to the event for years, taught by aguileño actor Miguel Angel Prisons.
After the screening of an elaborate audiovisual show on preparations and highlights that has left this important stage appointment, we proceeded to the awards ceremony, in true Hollywood style.
First prize: 1,200 euros, trophy sponsored by the City of Eagle and action in the Romea Theatre in Murcia, for the company La Garnacha Theatre Logroño (La Rioja) by Veronica's room, Ira Levin.
Second prize: 800 euros and a trophy sponsored by the City of Eagle, the company Carafur Teatro de Elche (Alicante) by The poor things, Alfonso Paso.
Third prize: 500 euros and a trophy sponsored by the company Montecitrus, the company Teatre Carabau Alaquás (Valencia) by Hamelin, by Juan Mayorga.

Best Supporting Actress (Trophy Aparthotel Eagles Los Collados): Angela Girona, of Carafur Theatre for The Poor things.
Better lighting (Trofeo Pozosur): Michel Blanco, La Garnacha Theatre, by Veronica's room.
The event ended with the words of greeting the mayor of Eagle and theatrical representation of the famous domestic production 'Venus in Fur' by David Ives, directed by David Serrano and starring actors Clara Lago and Diego Martin, closing well this magnificent XI National Contest Amateur Theatre Paco Rabal Eagles.
