The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, held this afternoon the traditional lighting of the Christmas lights officer during a ceremony in which he was accompanied by the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, as well as other members of the municipal corporation.
From today until next January 6th, more than 300,000 light bulbs will deck the main streets of the town, filling color and encouraging the Christmas and commercial environment by different arteries of the city.
The local chief executive explained that 'were installed numerous luminous arcs, made entirely with LED lamps, which implies a significant energy and cost savings. "
In addition, the Plaza of Spain has been decorated with various figures of wicker, bright decorations on palms and ornamental arches that provide a beautiful Christmas stamp, which soon traditional poinsettias will join.
To finish the event, Bartolome Hernandez wanted to invite citizens to take to the streets and participate in the wide and varied lineup of Christmas activities organized from the Department of Celebrations of the City of Eagles.
