The mayor of the City of Eagle Woman, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, closed this morning an artistic expression workshop organized by the Department, which involved about twenty local women.
Over a month through two weekly classes of three hours, members of this group have learned to recycle newspapers and turn them into various objects, which serve as original gifts, very useful for this Christmas ahead while exploring their own creative abilities.
By basic twisted and paint and following the instructions of Mary Vitoria Abellán, professor of the course techniques, have created baskets, boxes, frames or baskets of different sizes, which were displayed during the closing ceremony.
During his speech, congratulated María Martínez Sponsorship women who have successfully completed the workshop of artistic expression and encouraged that next year continue to participate in the activities organized by the Consistory aquiline, through the Municipal Center for Women.
The mayor noted that the Department conducts workshops in computer science, French, English, literacy, design and creation, self defense, reading, relaxation, meditation and body language, among others, as well as a school for parents and expectant mothers , family gathering spaces for the development of creative skills, lectures and symposium, group work, sports days and excursions.
According to Martinez, these actions are developed with the intention of responding to the demands of the female population of Eagles, as they are provided with knowledge and various skills and awareness of their own talents, abilities and resources.
