Since it was officially constituted in November last year, the City of Eagle has hosted several meetings of the Local Coordination Committee Against Gender Violence, composed of members of different organizations and municipal and regional institutions.
One of these meetings took place this morning at the Consistory aquiline, chaired by the mayor of Women, Maria Patrocinio Martinez, where representatives from the Civil Guard, local police, the Bar Association, Comprehensive Care Center for Women, CAVI were , Social Services, Youth Council, Educational Centers Elementary and Secondary SEF, Mental Health Centres and Primary Care.
These work sessions seek to promote coordination of actions, actors and resources, influence the early detection of cases of abuse, providing care and agile response to victims of domestic violence and improve your protection as well as inform and sensitize professionals and the general public on this issue.
Also, these regular meetings are intended to promote and implement actions to providing services aimed specifically at women, to promote the principle of equality and perform actions and programs for the prevention and eradication of violence against women and improve care for victims.
