During these days, several crews of workers held in Águilas traditional planting hundreds of poinsettias, popularly known by the name of poinsettias, Christmas to wear the flower beds of the main roundabouts urban town.
Work began last Friday in the Plaza of Spain, where in addition to the typical red flower this year also planted yellow, although still predominantly reddish color that is so characteristic of these dates.
Councilman Parks and Gardens of the Consistory aquiline, Isidro Carrasco, said that this work will continue until Thursday, covering places like: Alfonso Escámez, Robles Vives or Isaac Peral, along with other areas of the town as boardwalks or the roundabout at the entrance to the city.
Carrasco has indicated that about a thousand poinsettias, which will help enhance the Christmas atmosphere in different parts of the city will be planted.
