Awarded the best cribs Eagles (22/12/2014)

This past weekend at the Casa de Cultura "Francisco Rabal" held the awards ceremony of the XVII Crib Competition, organized by the Association of Housewives, Consumers and Users "Virgen de los Dolores", in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Heritage Hall of Eagles.

The event was chaired by the mayor of Culture, Francisco Miguel Martinez, president of the association, Catalina Garcia, accompanied by other authorities.

As a finishing touch the Coral of this group offered the large audience a Christmas carol selection.

The jury of the contest, which was created to maintain and promote this holiday tradition, visited last week the participants cribs and taken into account when assessing the manual work, the originality of the assembly, artistic creativity, ingenuity, effort and hard work.

The awards this year, separated into three modes, went to the following centers, firms and individuals:

Nativity Schools:

First prize: CEIP 'Ciudad del Mar'.

Second prize: CEP 'Carlos V'.

Third prize: CEIP 'Las Lomas'.

Nativity Exhibition:

First prize: Ginés Morata Lopez.

Second prize: Travel Almeida.

Third prize: Nursing Home 'San Francisco'.

Family Nativity:

First prize: Miras Francisco Asensio.

Second prize: Felipe Navarro Mulero.
