The Department of Consumer Affairs of the City of Eagle today launched an information campaign on the January sales, which offered a few tips to keep in mind for citizens.
The titular councilor of this department, Ana María Miñarro, aquiline encouraged to make their purchases in shops in town, while consumers recalled that during the sales period, have the same obligations and rights the rest of the year.
Some of the messages included in that campaign are:
Both discounted price as above must appear on the label.
Keep the ticket or invoice as security for a possible return or complaint.
Establishments open credit card payments for the remainder of the year, are required to do so in sales time without any surcharge on the price.
Items have to be seasonal and can not be manufactured exclusively for this period.
Miñarro was keen to stress that, before any anomaly, citizens can go to the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), located on the ground floor of the building 'The Placetón', or call 968 413 661.
