Public Safety Councilman Consistory aquiline, Francisco Clemente, offered this morning a summary of statistical data on the actions carried out by the local police Eagles during 2014.
The mayor said that the figures are similar to those of recent years and indicate that 134 prosecutions have been made, of which 119 were in detention, with a total score of 133 detainees.
Of these, 95 were of Spanish nationals and 38 foreigners.
The agents rose 422 records for various complaints and 91 substance abuse.
Similarly, nine stolen vehicles were recovered and 54 crimes were instructed traffic safety, including police actions.
During his speech, Francisco Clemente emphasized the decrease of crimes against traffic safety.
According to the council, through awareness campaigns and controls periodically conducts the local police and by the drivers themselves who are increasingly aware of the dangers of getting behind the wheel in certain circumstances.
Finally, the mayor would not lose the opportunity to congratulate the staff of the local police for the professionalism and dedication shown daily in their work, ensuring public safety and the free exercise of the rights and freedoms of all persons residing in Eagles.
