The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez has received aquiline karateka Marina Cáceres, before leaving for the European Championship.
Cáceres is gold Karate of Spain, in the cadet category discipline kumite and kata bronze.
She has been summoned by the Spanish National Karate to participate in the European Championships, which will take place on Friday, February 6th, in Zurich (Switzerland).
This morning the athlete has left for Mardid, where the concentration prior to the tournament will take place at the residence of the Superior Council of Sports in the Spanish capital, being the only Murcia convened for the above test.
Marina is a member of the Eagles Karate Club and was accompanied at the reception by his coach, Juan Carlos Navarro.
Bartolome Hernandez transmitted to the support and encouragement throughout the city, and hopes to receive on his return to the town full of new triumphs.
