Last night was held at the Infanta Doña Elena Auditorium, the awards ceremony of the XXII Literary Contest Carnival, an event which was chaired by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, the mayor of Celebration, Clara Valverde, and the president of the Federation Peñas, José Alonso, accompanied by several councilors and adult and child characters in this Festival of International Tourist Interest.
The Official Ballet Federation of Clubs and musical training 'LaBlue Band' acted in this event presented by Marita Perez.
We also conducted a tribute to aguileño writer Manuel Martínez Robles, 87, author of several publications and contributor to various magazines, who throughout his prolific career received numerous awards for his work.
Also, the official book of Carnival 2015, a publication that has a cost of two euros and whose profits will go this year to the Alzheimer Association presented.
The book, layout hooked by the firm 'By design', consists of ninety-six pages in which the highlights of last carnival are reviewed, including numerous photographs of these activities and participating troupes.
The winners this year were:
Tenth Award: José Antonio Martínez pattern for 'The crow makes us equal'.
Poetry Prize: Muela Antonio Haro, for Aguilas Carnavalera '.
Prose Prize: Marisol Lopez Diaz, for 'Semblanza Angel Ferrer.
