Eagles is ready to live the traditional Carnival Cascarones battles.
The characters in this contest, Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma, Domingo Carrasco and Noelia Ruano, in adult mode, and Pedro Perez and Monica Martinez in children, gathered this morning the 'weapons' to cross that will take place tonight and Saturday morning at the Plaza of Spain.
The local chief executive, Bartolome Hernandez, and the mayors of Celebration and Social Services, Ana María Clara Valverde and Miñarro, with the president of the Federation of Clubs, José Alonso, accompanied the carnival characters during the traditional ceremony in which Occupational Center students Urci delivered shells (deviled eggs with confetti) for Battles.
Carnal and Lents, adult and child, were now about 3,000 'shells' made throughout the year by the students of that center, since its development is one of the crafts included in the program of activities coordinated by the president of this group, Josefa Lopez.
These shells, which will join another 12,000 made by the hosts of the characters, are a typical element of Carnival Eagles used as 'ammunition' by the armies of Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma, upon arrival at the Plaza of Spain .
After the 'Battle of eggs', they are facing another crusade, this dialectic case, which comes Lent aware of its announced loss to Don Carnal.
