Although the weather has tested the Special Local Action Plan of Spanish Red Cross Eagles, first included in the Specific Plan Emergency City Hall, the operation, which began last Thursday 12 February and has been developed in this first phase until early Tuesday, 17 November, has solved all the issues quickly and effectively.
In fact, during the early hours of Saturday 14 strong storm water necessitated the relocation of Health Outpost to the facilities of the Casa del Mar, a situation reflected in that plan and, thanks to previous meetings of the Group of Devices Foreseeable Risk allowed to carry it out as normal, while continuing to provide healthcare to patients who were at that time in the facilities located on the Esplanade Commercial Port.
During the six days that lasted this first phase were carried out 104 assists, 46 of which have been evaluated and assisted by the medical team of Spanish Red Cross Eagles and the remainder, to total 104, by different Ambulances Basic Life Support.
The number of assists in maintaining normal levels of previous years, with no recorded cases of particular gravity, but are referred to the Hospital Rafael Méndez de Lorca 2 patients for additional medical tests.
