Yesterday was held at the Municipal Center Senior 'Antonio Segura Sicily', the traditional costume contest organized every year this group, coinciding with the feast Piñata Sunday.
The event was chaired by the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, who was accompanied by Senior councilors and Celebrations, Ana María Valverde Miñarro and Clara, as well as the president of the Center, Juana Gonzalez.
The competition attracted more participants than in previous years and the costumes were of higher quality, so the jury's verdict was swift.
It consisted of the aforementioned councilors and several members of the Association of Housewives Eagles, led by its president, Cati García.
The winners of the various forms of competition were:
Best of Carnival: Encarna González and José Montalbán, for the costumes for 'Lola Flores and Miguel de Molina'.
Elegance: Salvador Miras, his suit 'Cowboy'.
Fantasy: Leonor Lorente, by design of 'Jacket'.
Sympathy: Rosa de la Torre, for 'Snow White'.
Best Couple: Pedro Morata and Juana Robles, for their costumes for 'Samba'.
Best Hairdo: Juani Manzanera, by design of 'Widow'.
Originality: Clementa Munuera on the guise of 'Flag'.
Colours: Ana Manzanera, for his suit 'Tropical'.
