The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, and the Director General of Employment and Training Service (SEF), Alejandro Zamora, closed this morning a mixed program of employment and training in geriatric care for dependent people at home.
During the ceremony, they were accompanied by the Councillor for Local Development, Industry, Trade and Employment, Carlos Bartholomew.
The formative period of that program has been a year, during which participants have received financial remuneration, benefiting a total of 17 people (15 students, a teacher and administrative), by a grant of 219,274 euros which has provided the SEF.
It was addressed to unemployed, aged between 25 and 54 years, who have obtained professional certification that enables them to work on this activity.
They have done internships in the area of ​​Social Services City of Eagle, as well as in the two nursing homes in the town, which has helped to enhance the knowledge acquired during the learning phase.
It has given weekday, with a duration of eight hours, offering participants the opportunity to acquire enough ideas to facilitate their entry into the labor market.
