The Director General of Vocational Training, Joaquín Buendía, and the Councillor for Education of Eagle, Francisco Clemente, visited this morning the King Carlos III Institute of Eagles secondary education, where the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has implemented this course cycle Basic Training Kitchen and Restoration.
During the visit, Joaquín Buendía recalled that the decision to implement this cycle was taken in agreement with the municipal authorities and school management, which studied a total of 572 students, and taking into account the importance of the service sector the township.
"One of our goals is to offer different forms of vocational training is in line with changing labor market needs and to improve the skills of students and facilitate their integration into a job," said CEO Vocational Training.
In this case, students in the cycle of Basic Training at this center will receive quality training in a sector, the services sector, which has an important influence in the region.
For example, firms in this sector now account for 12.5 percent of all companies in the region.
The Basic Training is attended from age 15 and allows for an official title of Professional Training with which, subsequently, students can obtain the title of Secondary Education or access directly to a cycle of Intermediate Training Professional.
The day ended with a meeting that featured the mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, who have tried different issues related to improving the educational offer in the town.
