The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez, and Council of Works and Celebrations, Diego Martínez and Clara Valverde, presented the remodeling of the Plaza de Antonio Cortijo, the cost is around 430,000 euros this morning.
During the press conference, held in the Consistory aquiline, local authorities explained that the arrangement of the popular party room will be in two phases.
The works will be awarded before summer, but the work will not start until the end of the summer, so as not to hinder the normal development of the program of events takes place there during the months of July and August.
The event will consist basically of renewing the damaged perimeter fence of the square on the other to allow its removal, if necessary, designed with natural motifs in various shades of blue, reflecting the color ranges of sea and sky Eagles.
The Tourist Office will also remodel, expanding and building it in order to make it more modern and functional, introducing new technologies in the information process with an external display in different languages.
Similarly, dressing rooms and new public toilets will be built, thus avoiding having to install portable containers for summer celebrations, as used so far.
In the second phase, is expected to rise bleachers on the east side of the square, between existing restaurants, adjusting a large terrace for use of these catering establishments, which have a magnificent view of the fishing port.
The general picture that offer this set of actions will star blue and green hues, creating a cheerful, dynamic and with a lively and accessible architectural enclosure.
