The mayor of Eagle, Bartolomé Hernández Giménez, accompanied by other authorities, inaguraba this morning the street chronicler historian Luis Díaz Martínez, in the La Florida I.
This name was proposed by Mayor adopted by the Plenary Ordinary November, which were reported in detail the merits that made him worthy of such an important distinction, as well as the popular support that accompanied the request of appointment.
Díaz Martínez is the author of numerous books, among which the 'Journal of aquiline issues', which makes clear his inclination to research the past of his hometown.
He has made several donations to the Municipal Archives and the Archaeological Museum, among other places.
The current chronicler of the town is well known by those mentioned facets and his priestly work, now as pastor of Garrobillo, and a member of the Royal Academy of Alfonso X the Wise.
He has given relevant conferences and collaborates regularly with various media, among a long list of initiatives that reveals his love Eagles.
According Bartolome Hernandez, 'a person who does not go unnoticed, who has done a great job by Eagles, especially in dissemination, both in general culture, and the history of the town.

The event was attended by authorities, relatives, colleagues and a large group of friends as well as a performance by the crew of the Cuesta de Gos.
