The councilman of Consumption of the City of Eagle, Ana María Miñarro, this morning visited the facilities of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC), which today takes place Open Day, part of the program of events organized its Department for World Day of Consumer Rights.

The mayor toured these dependencies, accompanied by representatives of various local associations, with whom he found the great work that body develops for aquiline.

As explained Miñarro, the OMIC is a free education, consultation, information and conflict resolution, the Department of Consumer offers consumers and users of our town for 29 years, and to all those who visit the city .

This office has handled over 900 cases of consumption during 2014, approximately 30% of the care service because the main function of the OMIC is information and not the process.

Also during this period have been made over 70 arbitration hearings by videoconference.

Also, following the signing of the agreement between the City of Eagle and Bar Lorca, departmental officials this area was given the task of informing the public reception and registration, classification, control and review of applications and other documentation required by the Legal Aid Act, a total of 240 records made during the past year.
