The mayor of Eagle, Bartolome Hernandez and Councilman Goods and Works, Diego Martínez, inaugurated yesterday afternoon two tennis courts clay and a new access to the sports center, both performances located in the northern part of the sports complex next to the indoor arena "Diego Calvo Valera".
This project, with a budget of 225,000 euros, note that the dimension where the tracks are located has called on 3'2 feet below the level of access to the Sports Centre, which has been necessary excavation, subsequently creating a ramp that allowed this facility to integrate with other existing in the environment.
The equipment includes an area of ​​precast concrete bleachers and a retaining wall that helps protect the playing area of ​​wind effects.
It also features an outdoor enclosure that was run by a mesh of steel plate of 2.8 meters high, anchored to a concrete wall.
This is complemented with perimeter gardener and different elements of lighting, irrigation and drainage of rainwater, among others.
This initiative will allow many aquiline athletes, young and old, to avoid having to travel to neighboring cities to play tennis on these tracks, as has been happening so far, while the image and accessibility of the sports center of Eagle is improved.
