The Department of Tourism of the City of Eagle today reported hotel occupancy recorded in the city during Holy Week, which reached 95% in some establishments in this sector, exceeding 10% last year figures.
Similarly, consultations with the Office of Tourism increased 36'24% over the same period of 2014, highlighting domestic tourists, mainly from other regions (70'97%), followed by Murcia (15'34 %) and foreign (13'69%).
The mayor of Tourism, Clara Valverde, stated that "the good weather has favored this increase, encouraging visitors seeking the product of sun and beach".
Similarly, the council has highlighted "the variety of leisure and free time that the city and the level of a procession every year are attracting more followers in Eagle offers."
