Redexis Gas, one of the leading companies engaged in the transportation and distribution of natural gas in Spain, presented his plan of deployment and distribution of natural gas in Águilas this morning.
During the ceremony, announced the investment the company held in the town, amounting to a total of 2.7 million euro to build the entire pipeline network and supply of natural gas in the locality.
After the first phase of this important action, thanks to which many residents of the area north of Eagles already enjoy access to this source of economic and sustainable energy, this morning visited the facilities of natural gas in the town's mayor City, Bartolomé Hernández;
the Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz;
CEO of Industry, Energy and Mines, Alfonso Ramón García;
CEO Gas Redexis the Mediterranean Zone, Julio César Campillo, and the CEO of the company in Murcia, Pedro Santos.
Gas infrastructure Redexis Aguilas include a liquefied natural gas, which is already in operation and a distribution network of 20.6 kilometers, of which have already been implemented over 6,000 meters.
The development of these facilities will allow all residents of Eagles, with a population of nearly 35,000 inhabitants and more than 14,000 homes, access to natural gas, a clean and efficient fuel.
After completing the first phase, the company has already applied for license to start the canalization in a second area of ​​the town, covering the Ramón y Cajal, Fuensanta, Marin Menu and King Carlos III streets, among others.
To a later stage, are also being studied others closer to the coast districts, with streets such as Isaac Albéniz, Manuel de Falla, Iberia or Canalejas.
